    Cob Gathering

    A Basque rural sport in which a single player collects twenty-five wooden cobs, one by one, and carries each of them back to a basket. It measures endurance, rhythm and concentration rather than raw strength.

    Snail Race

    A calm skill game: each player winds a string around a wooden spool, and as the string shortens their wooden snail crawls forward towards the finish line. Speed comes from steady, coordinated winding, not from strength.

    The Frog (Target Toss)

    A precision throwing game: players stand behind a line and throw discs or small balls at a table-like structure, aiming above all for the mouth of the metal frog, which scores highest.

    A calm dexterity game in which players use small rods to hook wooden sea animals and lift them out of the play area, alone or in teams, against the clock.

    Mendil Kapmaca

    Handkerchief Snatch

    Two teams line up facing each other and each player is given a number. A referee stands in the middle holding a handkerchief; when a number is called, the two players with that number sprint for the handkerchief and try to get it home without being tagged.

    Dodgeball with a Goal

    A team version of Turkish "burn ball": the field is divided by a centre line, each team stays in its half, passes among its own players and tries to hit opponents with the ball, either directly or after a bounce, depending on the agreed rule.

    Knucklebones

    A precision game of Anatolian origin: each player places a knucklebone on a line inside a drawn circle, and from a throwing line five metres away players throw a stick to knock the bones out of the circle.

    Dokuz Kiremit

    9 Tiles

    A two-phase team game: a stack of nine tiles is knocked down with a ball, and the real game begins afterwards, when one team tries to rebuild the stack while the other tries to hit them with the ball.

    Palant

    Polish traditional bat-and-ball game

    A historic Polish bat-and-ball team game: the batting team hits the ball into the field and runs between marked points, while the fielding team recovers the ball and tries to stop them. It is one of the European ancestors of baseball and cricket.

    Target Ball Game

    A precision game in which players roll or throw their balls trying to finish as close as possible to a small target marker. Simple to explain, endlessly repeatable, and playable almost anywhere.

    Players throw a marker into a numbered square drawn on the ground and travel through the grid according to the rules of the chosen variant, hopping, stepping or moving without touching the lines.

    Rhythmic jumping over a rope, alone or in a group, from single basic jumps to long-rope routines with several jumpers, counting rhymes and coordinated entries and exits.
