What is I-PLAY?

What the project does

  • Social inclusion

Traditional games are low-cost, low-barrier and intergenerational — an ideal entry point into sport for everyone.

  • Gender equality

Mixed and equitable practice is built into every activity, with a focus on girls' and women's participation.

  • Health & HEPA

Playful movement raises health-enhancing physical activity levels among young people and their communities.

  • Cultural appreciation

Documenting and teaching heritage games keeps living culture alive and travelling between our three countries.
